NEW STRIP :: FUN WITH AUTOBIOGRAPHY: What Is With The Women, Part 1
July 28th, 2009 — 08:25 amThe first of a short series exploring romance, sweet romance. Well, not really romance. Frankly I’m not sure what it will explore–I’ve only done the first page, and am more than a little clueless as to what the second page will be about. Don’t you worry: I’ll think of something. I’d say more but it’s time for work. Have a good day at work, sweeties!

Copic markers, Shannon. They’re expensive but the ones with brush tip are pretty cool, and don’t make my Kuretake pen ink run like watercolor does.

I need to get some of those markers but I always wondered if they made the ink bleed. Obviously not. Well, I’m off to put my shoplifting shoes on…

Shannon you need to test those badboys on your ink. They definitely DO make most of the ink I’ve used them with bleed like crazy–when I use them it’s only on stuff I’ve done with my Kuretake brush marker, and/or Microns are okay. But you still need to be carefuls.

Thanks man. I’ll have to play around. The next time I visit civilization I might pick some up. I use microns, cheapie brush pens and cheap brushes with Dr. Marten india ink. But, mostly the microns so I guess at least those would be safe. Thanks for the tips!
I use Photoshop but those markers look great and plus it sure would be nice to have a non-digital piece of colored original art to show off from time to time.

Hm, maybe I should print some of those pieces. I don’t actually have one, I just always draw that for some reason Anh. Hm, wheels are turning…
