DIARY COMICS :: Feb 16-21, 2010
March 10th, 2010 — 10:08 amNew diary comics dudes! You can click on any of the images to see them on Flickr, along with the rest of them going back to January 1. Or just click here to see the whole set!
I cannot overstate (so far) how much more awesome the State Employee’s Credit Union is than Bank of America. Or any other bank I’ve ever had an account at. Although SECU has now messed up my checks twice, but on the other hand I have yet to get charged for pretty much anything. OH EXCEPT THE $1/MONTH SERVICE CHARGE WHICH IS IT THAT’S ALL THE ONLY CHARGE CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? I love it.

Ice Dancing definitely not a sport! I submit that any event that is decided by judges is NOT a sport. Don’t get me wrong, I think they are all amazing athletes… but being judged on “artistic merit” is so not a way to decide who is the best at something in the world.
Love the comics, btw. :)

Now hold on–let’s not get carried away. I enjoyed ice SKATING very much during the Olympics, very athletic, competitive, a mix of form and function that I enjoy. BUT Ice Dancing is basically ballroom dancing on ice. I’m not sure if that’s really a rigorous argument against ice dancing or not, but still: I don’t like it.

I am noticing that your quick drawings of girls like anida has improved – and the drawing of Clackum is spot on!! totally looks like him. I guess that is what daily comic sketches do for you – coming from a non-comic artist… – missy

That’s nice of you Missy. Although Anida has appeared so many times, I think I’ve just drawn her enough that it has stuck in your mind that “that’s Anida.” Speaking of which, I put you in one I drew this morning, although it’s still a couple of updates ahead (from Libby’s party).
