DRAWINGS :: Oh, Lord!
My friend Scott Clackum has the most incredible collection of old blues recordings--he's the kind of guy who has the $200 box sets that no one but him buys, and I've greatly enjoyed taking full advantage of his generosity with these recordings. This I drew in my sketchbook after listening to the first of many blues samplers he's burned for me. Then last year, I believe as a Christmas present, I did a finished version, which was a lot of fun, although the non-sketchbook version lacks some of the punch of the original, maybe. For some reason I scanned the art at different points through the process; it's fun to share!
