DIARY :: May 16, 2018 :: After The Fall

Bea was a sweet lady. I should have spent more time with her, but I should spend more time with my own family and friends, too. No offense, Bea, I just keep to myself more than people think. Whenever I'd do some small favor for Bea, she would invariably look around her house for something to give me as payment. These included, over the years, half eaten packages of cookies, numerous gifts of caramels (I don't really eat sweets), a giant stick of brussel sprouts after I mentioned I had cooked some brussel sprouts, and a massive black tshirt with a wolf howling on it that would have fit both of us, even if Bea had been sitting on my shoulders. Bye bye Bea. You can call me to come figure out how your new cable remote works any time, I'm just two doors down

Nice drawings. Good story. Of course the ending was no surprise but still. Referred to your page by Bruce Simon.
